Manhattan Kittens: Siamese
The Siamese is an extremely intelligent breed of cat. They are the most verbal and talkative of cat breeds and enjoy giving their human companions a running commentary. Their voice is rather unique, it is deep and strong. Siamese cats are often described as ‘”dog like”’ in that they often enjoy to play fetch, but they are also incredibly affectionate and bond closely to humans. Siamese kittens love to be the centre of attention and are always willing to play.
The Siamese coat pattern is quite striking. Their face, paws, ears and tail (also referred to as their “points”) have a darker coloring, while their body is much lighter in color. Their coat is short, fine and silky to the touch requiring very little grooming. Their ears are large, and eyes are a stunning blue with a beautiful almond shape.
Siamese kittens are elegant and athletic with a long, muscular body. Their temperament makes them a lovely pet for most any family, including those with children and other pets.
